You have probably thrown away heaps of scoops from all the bags of protein you’ve purchased over time
You only need 1 and if you’ve lost it or thrown it away a 30g scoop is equivalent to 2 table heaped spoons
Think about it.
SFA strictly does not add any artificial ingredients or fillers and only add’s ingredients to achieve a specific purpose.
Natural flavouring is used to achieve the flavouring
Stevia Extract (Rebaudioside A 98%) is used to achieve the sweetness
Guar Gum is also used to increase the thickness when the protein powder is utilized to make a shake which also adds to the texture.
What is Micellar Casein?
Casein is a type of dairy protein found in cows milk. It is a high quality, bioavailable protein that contains all the essential amino acids. Unlike whey protein, which is rapidly digested, casein is slowly digested and absorbed
How does Micellar Casein work?
When ingested, casein forms a gel-like fibre in the stomach which slows down the rate of gastric emptying and therefore affects the rate at which amino acids are absorbed into the bloodstream. This provides a slow release of amino acids, fuelling and building muscles over an extended period of time.
What makes SFA Micellar Casein better than other protein brands?
Unlike some other brands we don’t lie about what our products actually contain or do. We don’t import our product from the united states or in fact any other country aside from Australia and New Zealand who have the best food standard’s & practices in the world
Can anyone use SFA Micellar Casein?
Yes, SFA Micellar Casein is safe for anyone to consume, unless you have sensitive dairy allergies. We also recommend that for any dietary change you consult your doctor.
Where do you source your protein from?
SFA sources it’s Micellar Casein from Australian based dairy farms. We pack all our products in our Melbourne based facility. We support Australian growth and industry by using Australian and New Zealand whey protein sourced from grass-fed cattle.

What should I mix Micellar Casein powder with?
SFA Micellar Casein can be mixed with water, dairy milk, or milk substitutes
When should I take Micellar Casein?
Casein powder can be taken at any time, including in the morning, as a snack, or after a workout. It is ideal to take when you know it will be a long time until your next protein meal.
Since Micellar Casein is an 8 hour digesting protein it is best take before bed, or if you know you are going to go a long period of time without food and will require protein in your system
To gain the most benefits, its best to consume before bed to promote protein synthesis and inhibit catabolism during sleep.
For weight loss management its preferable to utilize and consume 30-40grams of powder as a beverage either in the morning or afternoon to supplement a snack.
For muscle growth and strength training its preferable for 40-60grams 2-3hours prior bed time on training day’s and if desired as a beverage either in the morning or afternoon to supplement a snack on and off training days.
WPI/WPC vs Casein?
Both casein powder and whey protein powder have their benefits. Those that serious about maximizing muscle and strength gains would benefit from taking both. While WPI is better to take immediately after training as it is much faster acting and stimulates the mTOR pathway, casein powder is better to take when you have a long time between meals or to maximise gains overnight due to the digesting period is much slower then whey protein which ultimately allows for a much more sustained release of amino acids into the bloody stream over a much longer period. Casein has a much greater satiety effect compared to when protein.
What is the difference between Whey protein and Casein protein?
Whey protein and Casein proteins are both naturally occurring proteins in dairy milk. Casein make’s up ~80% of protein in dairy milk and the ~20% remainder is made up by whey protein.
Why do we need protein and amino acids in our diet?
A protein consists of amino acids linked to peptide bonds. Dietary Protein is broken down by two enzymes in the gastrointestinal tract into dipeptides and tripeptides which eventually are broken down to amino acids(catabolism) when consumed, which the body absorbs and utilizes for many physiological functions.
Amino acids have enormous physiological importance such as cell-specific production of low-molecular-weight metabolites.
The most common physiological function of amino acids that is known generally is the anabolism(synthesis) of new protein’s within the body and also the repair of muscle tissue. Some more example’s are as follow’s; support of spermatogenesis, fetal survival and growth, blood circulation, resistance to infectious disease, as well as skeletal muscle mass and health.
It is important for one to ensure that at the very minimum the RDA of protein is met to ensure that there is no risk of protein deficiency. Protein deficiency has health consequence's and causes multiple clinical syndromes.
